Slade dismissed the circle of five leaders to prepare for the upcoming journeys. The plan would come together smoothly. He was working through middlemen, who had their own methods and styles. This would make it so much harder to trace back to Slade, and thus all the more hurtful when they did find out it was him. He was fed up with failed plots, and this time he would systematically destroy the Titans from the inside out.
The sound of footsteps cause him to snap his head towards the noise. Approaching him was a shadowed figure. However, he eased up when he stepped into the red spotlights. It was another trick he had up his sleeves.
"Hello, Sindri. I take it all went well?"
Sindri burst into hysterical laughter. The sound was so unsettling even Slade became uncomfortable. In all the years of mercenaries that Slade had seen in his own time as one, he'd never come across as colorful a figure as this one.
"Oh, he's got it out for me good. I'm gonna play him like a fifty cent Kazoo," Sindri responded after his laughter fit had subsided. The two villains stood overlooking the screens, as the other crimes were being carried out.
